In questo mondo tutti 

siamo destinati a morire.

Ricordando questo,

come puoi serbare rancore?

Con la stessa facilità con cui il vento 

sradica un fragile albero 

le tentazioni trascinano 

chi è alla ricerca del piacere, 

chi è avido, pigro e debole.

Ma, come il vento 

non riesce ad abbattere una montagna, 

nessuna tentazione scuote 

chi è desto, energico, 

fiducioso e vive semplicemente.

In this world all

we are destined to die.

Keeping this in mind,

how can you hold a grudge?

With the same ease with which the wind

eradicates a fragile tree

the temptations drag

those in search of pleasure,

who is greedy, lazy and weak.

But, like the wind

fails to break down a mountain,

no temptation shakes

those who are alert, energetic,

confident and live simply.
